Memory Patchwork Cushion
A handcrafted patchwork memory cushion made from your cherished clothing. Choose a soft cotton or fleece backing, add optional embroidered personalisation, and create a beautiful keepsake from baby clothes, Christmas clothes, loved one’s garments, or pet blankets.
Size approx 40cm x 40m.
The patchwork memory cushion can be made from a range of clothing, all stretch fabrics and thin fabrics will be lined, to ensure your cushion keeps it shape.
Baby Clothes: If you are sending baby clothes we will use both sides of the grow this can include poppers and items with plain backs, if you wish for no plain coloured squares, please send additional items and write a note of this on your order. We are unable to use swimwear and plastic fabrics. We will sometimes make larger squares to accommodate the detail on the clothing.
Adult clothes: For adult clothing, we will sometimes do a range of larger and smaller squares to incorporate images and button details. We are able to incorporate ties and small items on the cushions and we try to use any t-shirts or shirts with details such as pockets or emblems.
We recommend at least 4 baby clothes or a minimum of 2 adult items.
Special requests: If you have special requests, or would like certain parts of clothing used/ not used please add a note to your order. If for any reason we believe we can’t do what is requested we will contact you before making. For more complex requests we may need to contact you for additional payments.
How to get your clothes to us? After you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email with instructions of what to do next.
